A calm, playful design inspired by my love of yoga, nature and hand-painted illustration
About the Design
This little yoga bee started as a painting I created for my friend Katie, who absolutely loves bees. At the time, I was feeling really inspired to create a collection of animals practicing yoga poses, combining two things I’ve always loved: nature and yoga.
The yoga bee became one of my favourite illustrations in the collection. I painted it as a birthday gift for Katie because she loves both art and yoga, and the original painting still hangs on her wall today.
I never originally planned to turn the design into prints or clothing, but after sharing it online, so many people connected with it and asked if they could buy it for their own homes too. Creating the hoodie felt like a natural next step — something cozy, calming and wearable, inspired by one of my most loved illustrations.
