Madeleine works from your chosen photograph, using expressive ink lines, soft watercolour washes and carefully painted detail to capture not only your pet's appearance, but something of their personality too.

Choose your preferred size and framing option, then upload a clear photograph of your pet when ordering.

Bright, well-lit photographs usually give Madeleine the best reference, particularly where the eyes, face, markings and colouring can be seen clearly.

An original painting, created by hand

Your portrait isn't digitally generated or created using a watercolour filter.

Every commission is drawn and painted by hand by Madeleine using ink and watercolour, building layers of colour, line and detail to create a completely original piece of artwork.

Each finished portrait is signed by the artist and created in Madeleine's Black Country studio.

How your custom pet portrait works

1. Choose your size and framing
   Select your preferred artwork size and whether you would like your portrait framed.
2. Upload your photograph
   Send a clear reference photograph of your pet.
3. Tell Madeleine about your pet
   Share their name, important markings or anything else you'd particularly like Madeleine to know.
4. Your portrait is painted by hand
   Madeleine creates your original artwork using ink and watercolour.
5. Your finished painting is carefully packed and posted
   Once complete, your portrait will be safely packaged and sent from the UK.
